Today...TUESDAY...was the first day of school!
I started out the day by going to my first period...which starts at 9 am.
...this is where it's at... Yeonhui Hall...
...a building beside it...
...the plaza that is in the middle of the three buildings...
....another building beside it...
Yeonhui Hall looks like an Ivy-League College building because the hall and the two buildings around it are covered in 'ivy.' My first period was canceled after being seated for at least 30 minutes...the TA came and told us that the class is canceled for the week because the professor is not in the country yet.
I went to next period at 11 am and it was in the New Millenium Hall. The professor was Japanese and the class (a psych class) seems pretty interesting. I went to go take the Korean placement take and boy, it was really long! 12 pages and not knowing a lot of it...so I turned in an incompleted test...
DINNERR!!!!! Before dinner, my friend Connie helped Monique and I get cellphones...but since I didn't have the right identification stuff...I couldn't get it yet. Anyway, we ate at a really good place!
...this was REALLY big... it's like an omelet eggroll...
Cost: 16,000 won (~$12 US) split between 3 people...
...this is pork meat...it's the meat around the pig's feet? I tried some because I decided that I should try unfamiliar meat dishes cooked in Korea that I would not get to taste in the US. Plus, Korea treats their animals better! The meat was really tender...
Cost: 12,000 won (~$10 US)
This was how the omelet-eggroll was made!
...the cook/ahjussi looked really skillful and the way he made it looked so cool~
-Soju CHECK!!!!!
