Woke up late on Sunday and didn't go out until dinnertime...
I saw this shopping center while looking for a place to eat
inner. I ended up buying a bowl and spoon so I can eat my oatmeal in the morning...
We picked a place to eat at and it turned out to be a bar...we didn't know it was... So we ended up eating here...
...and drinking too... In Korea, the legal age to be drinking is 19...so...yeah...
On Monday...after getting my school id and running some errands, we went out to go grab lunch.
My sister, who has studied at Yonsei before, recommended me to try Kimbap Heaven (김밥 천국)...it's a chain restaurant but she said the one near a McDonalds is the best one... I never saw it but today, I saw this one somewhere else and decided to give it a try. I ordered the omele-rice dish. Cost: 4,500 won (~$3.50 US)
There was rice inside the omelet...
I also ordered this kimbap roll...it's a normal roll wrapped with egg...pretty good... Cost: 2,500 won (~$1.75 US)
We decided to head out to go shopping at Dongdaemun...where clothes are suppose to be cheap and all....
We ended up going to wrong direction and didn't know until a lot later...but we got to see this...it was on a side of the wall...
...along with this...
I also saw this on the wall too...they are Korean traditional masks...
...streets of Dongdaemun...
Some high school students on the streets...
While walking, we saw the Chungmu Art Hall...
This was displayed outside the Hall....bathtubs....lots of them.
...and a playground?
There were a lot of high schools around the area as well...this is an entrance to one of them...
There was also a fortress in Dongdaemun...I'm guessing it might be a national monument because only the fortress was fenced off...everything surrounded it was pretty modernized...
The entering and exiting doors of the fortress...
I asked around and found out that the other direction was where we wanted to go. We headed that way and started seeing fashion buildings...
...like this one...the building was shaped into a shoe...
...this was a part of the shoe
.....we started seeing shopping centers...
Clothes being sold on the streets....
This was inside of a shopping center building. The first few floors had female clothes...the few floors after were clothes for men...and the on floors 6-7 had bags, belts, shoes...etc. This was on floor 7....bags/purses...
...more bags...
...and purses...
Hello apm was where we were at...only one building...with all that stuff...
I want a bag! Maybe I'll slip you guys some money for purses.. haha
ReplyDeleteAND MAN, I wish I did a blog for when I traveled. It would've been fun.
