Today (for Saturday, July 17th)...I woke up, met up with a couple of friends, and went to the cafeteria near the dorms to grab something to eat. The cafeteria is in the SK Global House building...a building that connects with my building...and it's also a dormitory.
...this is what I ordered... Cream with chicken and sesame seed pasta...I thought it was good (tasted like alfredo)
Cost: 6,000 (~4.50-5 US dollars)
The restaurant is kinda pricey but it's a decent place to get pasta (not rice).
After lunch, I went back to my room because I needed to do some work for school...after that, I met up with my friends wherever they were at...and they were going to Yongsan so I rode the subway there...they wanted to check out the electronic stores...but we found an E-mart instead...
...this is the food level of E-mart...there were two levels and the other level was living appliances/etc.
SO MUCH FOOOOOOD... it's like a Wal-Mart... but Asian style...
...cold food...
...there were soooooooo many sampling stations!
CHOCOLATE....so freaking expensive here...
...good thing I don't have cravings for stuff like this (well...only dark chocolate...but they wouldn't have what I want here :])
...Hello Kitty candy... for all you H.K. fanatics...
...EGGS.....
So...we went outside and turns out we were at the Park Mall in Yongsan...
THIS WAS PRETTY...REALLY PRETTY...
..........lights.......
................us....
............awesome view.
...walkway of Park Mall (3rd level I believe)
...open area...on level 4... there were a lot of food eateries here too.
After buying brown rice (instant), more tea, snacks, and etc. at E-Mart...and eventually making our way back to Sinchon...we decided to grab dinner.
We ate BBQ (second time in a row for dinner)...pretty good though :]
Cost: 4,600 per person (~3ish US dollars)
...yummy!
After coming back from eating...I was tired and just wanted to relax for the night so I went to a jimjilbang for the first time. It was quite an experience...naked bath house and coal rooms...oh and ice room too! I didn't get to try out the bath house because they were cleaning the pools when I wanted to do it but I really enjoyed the coal rooms.
...the entrance to the jimjilbang...it was near school (a good thing)...didn't come back til 4 am.
Sorry no pictures inside...but maybe next time? I didn't want to carry it around because it might get too hot or wet..but the jimjilbang was really cool though! There was actually a coal room that was reaaaaaaalllly hot and I think my necklace kinda burned me so I had to run out ...eeeeeeee
